Men in Snow.

Hi Guys!  I am back!

We spent the holiday in Big Bear, CA at a cabin with family.  It was awesome.

Yes, that's a mohawk.  He gets to grow it until school goes back...cutie.

My dad got The Boy and himself these dart guns... so much fun!

We had an awesome Christmas Dinner, with crowns and all!

Me and my princes....

My cousin Suzanne and her man, Sean...

The ski slopes were packed, so we opted for sledding.  In true So Cal fashion, it was $25 per person to enter the slope area, BUT they had a motorized walk way up the hill, so as not to exert yourself!

Here are a few pics of our holiday fun....

I love this picture of my cousin, Stephanie!
Man, my husband makes me happy....

Have a fabulous New Year!

Please allow me to ask a dumb question (this is where you say, "there are no dumb questions, Lisa..."):

I have seen so many Christmas blog pictures with paper crowns, and I have never seen or heard of this tradition before. Please explain the significance! Have I been living under a rock? Does every other family in the world do this? What gives?
What great pictures! A few minutes from me, they have created "Snow Mountain" for the kids to sled. We might have to actually pay the exhorbitant fee and go...cause it's so unlikely that we'll actually have any snow...

Don't you love California living? Snow, mountains, valleys, and beach all withing hours.

-and I think you should let the mohawk grow on. He's so cute!

Oh the mohawk!?! What an awesome Mama you are! He does look cute - a nice picture of boy-meets-man with the mohawk and snuggling the stuffed animal. Priceless.

Glad you had a nice getaway, and are home safe and sound.

This looks like so much fun!

The neigbors big boys tried to sled on my not growing green grass down our little mini hill with Soren's little tikes car and his booby car on Christmas Day.

Great photo's!

Mohawks, will they ever go out of style?

I dated a man in the 80's that was a mortician and had a Mohawk. not saying anymore on that subject.

Have a wonderful New Year!

How fun!

Sometimes we go to Idylwild to go sledding around this time of year.

How come he has to get rid of his mohawk before school? Is it the teacher? Mini D's teacher doesn't care but he has a little friend that goes to another school in our city and the principal has a policy about them. Whatev's.

Love the mohawk! We're going skiing in a couple of weeks, I can't wait to see the mayhem that ensues when my daughter sees snow for the first time.

Wonderful Pictures Tiffany! I should nag my husband to bring us up the mountain this year so we can enjoy the snow and the tubing! Those crowns reminds me of an Australian Tradition during Christmas. Is that why you were all wearing it? Lest I forget, Happy New Year to you and your family.

Now that I'm spending so much time consorting with the Cali set, I have heard a lot about this mythical snowy place called "Big Bear". How do they keep any snow there with so many people playing in it ;)?!

Glad you had a good time. You look great! And what a cool mom to let the boy have a christmas break mohawk :)!

All the best in 2009 to you!!!

And, YES that is the famous southern living plate!!! LOVE it!
Looks like so much fun! We spent a week in the snow, but we drove to Utah to do it. Mt. Baldy is just up the hill from my house. You should have seen the hoards of cars heading to the snow!
