A Few Notes.

Um, yeah, so about that rant yesterday. {Scroll on down if you missed it.}

Thanks for seeing me through it.

I do want to say a few things in hindsight.

I actually enjoy Twitter.  It is a great way to keep up with you guys and Ashton Kutcher.

My experience there for the most part has been great.  I encourage you join in.  There are lots of totally cool and super nice, rainbow-and-unicorn sitstas hanging out!

I want to clarify something about SITS- you can use profanity on your blog and still be featured, we just ask that it's not in the 3 posts we link to.  Many bloggers just change it for the day and then change it back.  Your blog is your space.  Period.

While I know some of you would LOVE to know who I am talking about, I won't say for 2 reasons:  {1} I'd rather slide down a razor blade into a pool of acid than give them a single pageview.  {2} I have no interest in perpetuating drama.

What I needed was a good, ol' fashion vent, and you let me have it.

You "stroked my hair and told me I was pretty." {©Kathy}

You "loved me through it" {©Heather}

You offered to "make out." {©Lula}

You offered to "beat them up" {©Summer}

You told me I "should feel lucky." {and, I do! @Katie}

You ALL made me feel heard and validated.

I know it's silly, but every girl needs that once in a while.

With a big vat of chocolate and a bottle of wine.

So a big, fat, Thank You to each and every one of you.

Rainbows and Unicorns for everyone!

Glad you are feeling better about things today. It does help to get crap off your chest sometimes.

I wish I had known there was Chocolate and wine involved though....... can't get better than that!

When you step in dog poo, it's best just to shake it off and move on!

Chocolate and wine would help though;0)

We love you! You and Heather do an awesome job. Those other bashers are just jealous. They wish they could have what SITS has. They don't and never will, so they choose to be jerks!

I'm so glad you're feeling better!!

but I just can't get that whole 'razor blade and acid out of my head'
OUCH!! lol

It was a worthy rant, Tiffany. You hit the nail right on the head about the in crowd needing to "cement their reign". It is sad. And yes, very high school.

SITS is very grown up, and so amazing. I can't tell you how awed I am by the forethought you and Heather gave it to make it exactly what you intended it to be. It gives people who may or may not have known life in the "in crowd" a chance to have support in growing up healthy. Because really, we are all still growing up. Thank God for that!

And thank YOU for helping. :-)
I'm glad you are feeling better today. And I'm sorry I didn't offer to make out with you. ;) hehe. But yeah -- venting is healthy. :)

Everyone needs to rant now and then...it's freeing!

I didn't get a chance to comment yesterday, but I totally agree with you. I haven't had any drama from Twitter, but I do know that SITS is awesome. We don't need any more criticism and negativity, so good for you for telling it like it is and then moving on.

With the help of wine and chocolate, of course!

s'ok. We all need to vent sometimes. You should see my open letter to the folks at frito lay. Or to the shoppers and workers at Wal mart. I understand. Some people just suck.

It's all good.

I have to repeat my Hubs' philosophy sometimes..."jerks, the world's full of them," with a shoulder shrug and a move along little doggie.

This little doggie is moving along...

How about a vat of pomegranate martinis, half assed tropicana lemonade and vodkas and cheap ass pizza mias?

Forgive me, for I am toasted right now. As you well know.

Gosh, it looks like I missed a great rant. Everyone needs a good one every now and then.
Hope you are feeling better. I for one have loved SITS and enjoy visiting lots of different SITstas. I've learned lots and have even made a few friends. You guys are brilliant. Can't wait for my day in the sun.

I am very new to blogging, and had no idea there were cliques... I joined SITS (got my first post form linking the other day I was so excited!) so that I could get my blog out and to find new blogs that I have not come across. I think this statement "Our biggest obstacle as women is often each other." Speaks volumes. Thanks for the RANT! nothing like a good rant to get you through some Bulllish!

I joined twitter a few weeks ago and have yet to see it's usefullness in my life too...but I am willing to give it a go. I joined, blogged about it, and am seeing what sort of benefit it might be to me in my humble little life. What spurned me to check it out was the incessant talk about it on the news and when I found out that Mr. Demi Moore's contest was actually to benefit a not-for-profit organization to benefit people. So far, I love facebook for keeping up with the family and old/current friends, and blogging has started to become a source of laughter and identification with other people, esp. other women. I have only been a SITSta a few days but I am already enjoying the "community" I am seeing. Have faith, a few of us out there are really looking for this kind of thing:)
