Gratitude Day 6.

Today I went to Sephora.

AKA, "The MotherShip" and found a new shade of lip gloss that I LOVE.

It's this perfect light pink color called "litchi shine"and because it's the Sephora Nectar Shine, it didn't cost me $30 bucks like my Dior Addict Lip Polish, that I love, but have a hard time justifying....

I am grateful that I live near a Sephora and can wander aimlessly in all the cosmetic goodness.

{Hey, we don't need 30 days of deep, right}

What's your favorite-somewhat-frivolous, must-have-item?

You've got to love the little things that make you smile.....or make your smile even more pretty! ;-) I think that might be a double gratitude right there!

Ever since I was young and started wearing make-up I have loved the Mary Kay eye makeup remover. Nothing works like it for me. It is the only thing I buy from MK lady anymore but I still buy it faithfully.

You are so right!! Sephora is definitely "The MotherShip". I am actually relieved to learn I'm not the only girl who has such feelings. Sephora makes me happy, giddy even. Is that wrong?

I'll be honest; I have no idea what Sephora is. :S I've never even shopped at Macy's (if that gives you any idea of how non-fashionable I am).

I wish I had something like that, sort of a signature must-have...I just don't.

You could have stopped at "Today I went to Sephora," and I would've totally gotten it.

Mama's Candy Store.

That and whatever is on the first front table when you just walk into Barnes & Noble. Gotta have me some of that.

I can't think of just ONE somewhat-frivolous, must-have-item, but if you told me I could spend the day at these stores, and buy a few things at each, it would be like Christmas. I would indeed be feeling some gratitude:

- the book store, any book store
- Sephora (Can I get an Amen?!)
- Nordstrom (including lunch - Salmon Nicoise Salad)

Aw, love it. I say it is the little things that help make up the big things. And having lip gloss that you love is big. I've yet to ever find anything beyond Clinique super gloss. Love it.

Just came across your blog.

I LOVE Sephora! I first discovered it on a trip to France at age 15 and it has been love ever since. I actually still own (and gasp, wear) a lavender eyeliner I bought on that trip. It is about an inch now.
