New Crackliture.

As a result of Heather and Lula's endless urging,
I started The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins at 9 PM.

It is now 1:43 AM.  I am done.  Wow.

Ladies, we have ourselves some Crackliture.

Goodnight.

I read this too (from Lula's recommendation) it was good. Unsettling, but really good. And I take it there will be more? When you say, "End of book One," then Book Two is implied. Right?

Jeez, I need to finish this book today. I am at the part where Katniss just camped in the willow tree for the first night in the arena. Lula promises it goes faster from here on out. When Gabe goes to school, I am so reading today.

Can you give us a hint as to why this is such a good book? I'm in the middle of Barbara Walter's Audition. Maybe not Crackliterature but at least....I don't know. It's good. If you like biographies and BW is a good writer.

Amen. I'm still thinking about it.
I have it on reserve at the library. I am currently number 7. And I already have two books going. I need to stop reading blogs and get back to reading books :-)

I totally said I would complete this one before I jumped to The Shack so before everyone and their mom reads it before me, which is what happened with Twilight, I am gitting 'er done. I did read chapter one online.

Ok, I can see I'm going to need to pick up this book too. Sigh. I love reading, I really do, but it keeps me from getting things done.

Told you.

We must discuss, please.

Oh, I took Cracklit in college. I'll have to check this one out!

Whomever came up with the teaser first chapter download is an evil marketing genius.

I don't think I'll be on the list for this one though, unless you can talk me into it. Same reason why I have avoided reading The Road - my anxious bones can't handle the scary future! My deepest fear - not being able to feed my children.

On my list...that keeps growing. And growing.

You need to trademark that term Crackliture! So we are adding another book to the pile...the ever growing pile...

I saw your comment on Lula's about needing PSU to lose...no no no no. It did make me laugh though ;)You know, I think there is a scenario that could play out should we win the Big 10 that we would play USC in the Rose Bowl. I am assuming that USC will win the PAC-10. That would be wild and fun to watch. Smash mouth BIG 10 football versus a semi-pro team from Hollywood. Oh this season is so much fun for me this year!

I went and looked up this book on Amazon - to order it, of course. and I have to say the description scared the pants off me in many ways.
As a fan of Survivor and a clueless tv junkie - I dont know if I could handle it?

Hey Tiffany,

So this book is worth the few hours needed to read it? Sounds like I read just like you - if I like it, I can't put it down.

Your "Favorite Things Swap" box of yummies is on it's way to you compliments of our lovely United States Postal Service. You should have it by Saturday at the latest.

From reading your blog, it seemed that our interests were similar so I'm hoping you do enjoy MY Favorite Things. hee hee

Let me know when you get them....:)
