Gratitude Day 4.

Today is Mother's Day.

I am grateful for my mom who is my biggest fan.

Who always let me be exactly who I was, even when she didn't understand.

From letting me design my own homecoming dress (that she then sewed) to letting me rip up the carpet in my bedroom and install black and white checkered linoleum because I had a "vision" of what my room should look like, she always encouraged and supported my creativity.

To all the moms out there who are letting their kids blossom into their true selves, thank you.

Awe. You're Momma sounds like the Mom I strive to be, embracing my children's talents and interests and helping them develop their very own unique personality.

Zoweeee - b/w linoleum? My mom was all about expression, but I'm pretty sure she would have drawn the line right before that.

Way to go Tiffany's mom!

Happy belated Mother's Day.
