Oh, this song. This album. It, and his follow up (More Songs from Pooh Corner) helped guide me through the long weeks of post partum semi-depression after my first child was born. I'd sit and nurse and cry and listen...'til the day my husband vowed to destroy anything associated with Kenny Loggins. Still love both CDs, though. Good memories.
Love the pictures. I want to be his friend, please.

Mrs. Romero, There are very few times when words fail. As I'm posting my comment, my little muffin is dancing. She had a ballet performance to this song last year. Thanks for the post. It has given me the right perspective to start my day. Rachel
Alright, Mrs. Romeo Arrow -- Enough of the Pooh Pooh. Never liked that Winnie. Seriously, he is worse than a muppet. Never learns from his mistakes but fakes like he gets it! He is such an ex-husband.
If you need to play Kenny Loggins, slap me up with some "I'm Alright" because nothing gets me laughing like Caddy Shack ;)
I heart Bill Murray, no matter how old he gets, no matter how bald he gets, I'll always remember him being the Lounge Singer on Saturday Night Live.
Oh, yeah the kid is too cute. If you don't keep him we would gladly take him off your hands. The only thing better than saying that I have six kids would be if I could say I had seven and that I took of them from you ;)
Mrs. Romero, I love calling you that because it is cool. I love this song...those pictures are just precious and your son's freckles are just to die for. Aren't little boys great? They don't have nearly one ounce of the drama girls do. Trust me...I have an 8 year old who loves drama. I am so not ready for the teen years..and then there is my son who gets upset if I ever start to cry...and comes over to hug me and kiss me. Just the best.
He looks beautiful, Tiff. I can't believe how much he has grown. We definitely have to see you this summer and check out Mr. Cutie.

Mrs. Romero,
What a great family you have- you are truly blessed! Loved looking around your blog. Sad that it takes trajedies to get us in touch! I would love to bring the kids up to camp for a day....let's figure out when! Your boy is so sweet - he gives me a toothache!
This post is brought to you by our sponsor , “ Always Eat After 7 PM ”. The opinions expressed below are my own. Oh science! I am such a nerd when it comes to data. I love that “ Always Eat After 7 PM ” has plenty of it. Understanding how your metabolism works and interacts, not only with the foods we eat, but the times we eat them is so cool. Joel has done the research and really explains ALL the factors that contribute to weight loss (or gain), hormones, metabolism, etc. The data behind eating breakfast, food portion and size, etc is so interesting. Metabolic rates don't slow down during the night? What?? This video is super helpful to understanding the science behind the book. We've been told so much conflicting info on how to eat, when to eat and what to eat. Joel breaks it all down in his comprehensive and easy to understand book. This post is brought to you by our sponsor , “ Always Eat After 7 PM ”. The opinions expressed below are my own. Following Joel's eating plan and tips has been relatively easy. As someone who wasn't much of a breakfast eater before, transitioning my eating to later in the day was totally doable. One of the things I appreciate most about “ Always Eat After 7 PM ” i s the freedom the plan provides in terms of food choices. I never feel deprived. Its also nice to be able to eat a full dinner with my family and truly enjoying it. Joel includes a great mix of personal experience, motivational talk (you can definitely see why he is a successful personal trainer!) and recipes. For me the recipes are key in my success on any diet or food plan because I'm not a natural chef. I can't just throw some items together and come up with dinner. Haha. So having recipes to follow- especially in the beginning was so important. The other benefit was that I could make dinner for the
Get it? My clever play on words. I'm a "sucker". As in "blood Sucker". I crack myself up. My obsession started last season. I could only dream of it during the summer, as we had no HBO at the summer place. I came back home and watched 4 episodes in one day. Heaven. Bliss. Eric. I am obsessed with True Blood. And, completely and totally devoted to Eric. For those of you not watching True Blood {and living incomplete lives}, Eric is the bad boy version of a vampire. He's tall. He's blonde. He's immortal. He's smokin' hot. He's a "sheriff". {And you know how I like a man in "enforcement".} Sigh. So how about you? What's on your mind these days?
